Of course, you can try living in our Retirement Residence before you commit to moving in.<\/span><\/p>\n

We understand that deciding to move into a retirement home can be difficult. Most of us move only a few times in our lives, and older adults sometimes live in the same home for a few decades. Moving is a big change and a big decision, and we would like to support you in this transition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ashley Oaks Retirement Residence offers trial stays exactly for that reason. We have a few furnished suites where you can stay for two weeks and experience life in our community. This will allow you to meet our team and your new friendly neighbours; you will get to taste our chef-prepared meals and participate in activities and events. It is an opportunity to understand what an independent living senior residence is all about.

We recommend a two-week stay, because we know from our experience, that it takes time to settle in. In your first few days you might still be learning where everything is, getting used to sleeping in a different bed, and perhaps feeling a bit out-of-place. We promise to do our best to make you feel at home, and in a couple of days you might find that you have met a few people, know the residence better, and then you can really get the full experience.
